IDI supported the organisation Universal Brotherhood, chaired by Mrs Isabelle Barnier, which was founded 32 years ago to assist and finance the exemplary projects of Brother Francklin Armand and the congregation of the Incarnation in support of education and development in Haiti. Its mission is to restore human dignity to some of the most deprived rural populations in this country. The Brotherhood of the Incarnation provides schooling to almost 3,000 children, feeds 950 children, and trains around one hundred peasants every year at an agricultural campus that it has built on the central plateau. In this way, it brings financial, medical, legal, environmental and spiritual support to peasant families.
